For
our upcoming publication, Galusha Meader Methods is in the process
of expanding our action-based research to the district level.
You can view our first round of research by visiting our
action-based research
page. Currently,
we are partnered with Weymouth, our home district. Weymouth
High School is undergoing an innovative faculty-lead redesign known
as Design 21. The goal of this project is to embed core 21st
century skills across the curriculum to prepare students for
post-secondary education, career, and active citizenship. To
see an example of how Building Writers is working with this initiative,
you can review the written communication section of Weymouth's skill
progression chart by clicking
here. We
are still looking for two more districts with which to
partner. Partnered districts receive a full-day workshop, a
return half-day advanced seminar, continued support, and use of our
materials. We are offering this package in exchange for
Galusha Meader Methods' use of your results in our action-based
research. If your district is interested in this opportunity
contact us at galusha@gmmethods.com
or by calling us at 617-827-1069.
