Writers grew out of the
collaborative efforts of classroom teachers Justin Galusha and Rob
Meader in their attempts to find a coherent way to teach the writing
process. They
originally developed it for use in the AP classroom but soon found,
due to its simplicity and structure, that it had even more potential
with struggling writers. They use it in their classrooms on a daily
basis and are excited by the difference it makes in their students'
academic lives.
