You are to work in groups of your choosing to produce a 7-10 minute presentation about the Vietnam War or the Counter Culture Movement  You will use PowerPoint to enhance your presentation and post your work on this site.  By the time our class is done with this project, we will house an excellent student-created resource for others to learn about World War II.

During this project you will learn to:

  • Articulate thoughts and ideas effectively in a variety of contexts
  • Listen effectively to decipher meaning, including knowledge, values, attitudes and intention
  • Use communication for a range of purposes (e.g. to inform, instruct, motivate and persuade)
  • Utilize multiple media and technologies such as PowerPoint, and know how to judge their effectiveness a priori as well as assess their impact

For this project you must:

  • Form a group
  • Determine which role each team member will assume.
  • Decide upon the subject and direction of the presentation
  • Obtain approval from your teacher
  • Complete each step of the research process as you did in your previous projects.  The only difference is that your finished product will be a presentation not an essay or a movie.
